relaying party - meaning you can log in with your openid identity
From http://jeremy.zawodny.com/blog/archives/009856.html: Oh, and before anyone jumps on me about this not being "full" (meaning bi-directional) OpenID support, I'm quite aware of that. Consuming OpenID is a different beast that can't happen overnight. Give it some time. I'm optimistic that we'll get there.

RP means that you can use your OpenID to make comments on Blogger. This is in distinction to other sites (such as Vox.com) who only act as an OpenID Provider (OP).

I wonder why they went to all that trouble with GMail/AIM if they were just going start using XMPP anyway? http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2007/12/gmail-chat-aim-crazy-delicious.html
