Just went to buy a book at Amazon.com and I get to the last step and get this:

System Error
There was an internal error in our system. We logged the problem and will investigate it later. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Uh, that sucks. That reminds me though --- in my OS class today, our professor (an ex-Microsoft employee that worked on NT and 2000 and quit just a few months ago) was talking and his laptop running 2000 (hooked up to an InFocus projector) just crashed... blue-screened in the middle of his presentation. Heh. The cool thing is he looked at the blue screen and knew exactly what part has crashed.... he kept calling it a piece of junk and he seemed pretty annoyed. :-P

amazon.annoyingerrors.com

Hey Brad,

Usually if you get that error, you can back all the way out of the order form, and then do it again, and it should be fine.

Or just order with one-click.

Sincerely,

Your Neighborhood Customer Service Rep

Re: amazon.annoyingerrors.com

I just reloaded and it worked.

I run enough websites that I understand such errors...
