Woke up about 11:30 ... Blythe drove me to Gregg's Greenlake Cycle so I could pick up my bike... also picked up a new helmet while I was there. The total? $550. Ouch. Helmet was $40, so total paid to replace the stole parts: $510. Insurance deductible: $500. Amount I could get from insurance if I tried hard enough: $10. Not worth it. Anyway, after getting my bike I rode back down to Terry from Greenlake.... nice ride. Saw Blythe on the road as I was going home, she'd stopped at Trader Joe's and was pulling out of the parking lot as I sped down Roosevelt. Going to go eat with Eli in a bit.

First of all what kind of person gets insurance for a bike? and if your deductable is 500 then how much is your fuckin bike worth? I dont know anybody whos car insurance deductable is more than 600, and if your bike is worth enough to have insurance on then you should get more than a little fuckin chain or a 'masterlock'.

Well, just one more reason to carry a gun.
